It’s always a bit surreal seeing your work surface in unexpected places, but this one made me smile.

A friend recently reached out to say they were using ChatGPT to help with a development task, and it had returned a solution based on my blog post, with credit to S. J. Lewis 365 Solutions 😄

Seeing something I wrote being used to help solve real problems, even via AI, is a great reminder of why sharing knowledge matters. The post in question was about handling EXIF GPS data in SharePoint Online, and it’s great to know it’s still helping developers out there, even in ways I hadn’t anticipated. You can read the original article here: https://www.sjlewis.com/2023/09/22/enhancing-exif-data-handling-in-sharepoint-online-a-solution-guide/.

We’re entering an interesting phase where the content we create doesn’t just help people directly; it also shapes how AI helps others. If you’re creating content, keep going. You never know where it might turn up.

And if you’ve had something similar happen, I’d love to hear about it via LinkedIn.
